Excellent Yogurt

Saw spending a fortune on premium yogurt for a while. This yogurt starter is really good and tastes much better than premium tub yogurt if you use full fat milk

Fantastic

This starter makes Yummy Greek Style yogurt! Thick with a subtle tang.

My incentive for making my own was to reduce the amount of plastic coming into our house (we eat a lot of yogurt!) Too many 1L tubs & smaller ones if you want to use that as a starter.

I am using each initial "culture" a further 3 times with no deterioration in the outcome. This equates to 4L per sachet.

I have been using powdered milk (because I had some needing using) with equally successful results. This has also decreased the amount of plastic being bought into the house.

Lastly, I have taken the time to heat the milk to 80oC and hold it there for 5mins. Then cooling to 40oC before mixing with the starter. I am told (by a scientist friend) this "unravels" the milk proteins which can then bond together more successfully in the yogurt making process.

Recommended product with v rewarding results!

Very happy customer

I've found the youghurt starter to be excellent; it's very satisfying making your own yoghurt and have something enjoyable to eat at the end of it. Also, my orders have been filled very quickly and efficiently.

Yoghurt Flavour

I have to say I was disappointed with the flavour. I felt it was bland and had a metallic taste.
